She has all of them, arriving together and slightly out of step, which is the three of her you can see behind the one of her you are talking to: the same creature a beat behind, still finishing the last thought. She is early to everything, because late is unbearable. She keeps one hand on the strap of her bag the entire time she is sitting down. None of this makes her fragile. She notices the exits, the clock, who in the room looks upset, and how long the person before her has been in there, and she is right about most of it. The trouble is that noticing everything and being able to put any of it down are two different skills, and she only has the first one.
